The scottish camp 2023

Not far from the Old Farm, take a leap into the past. Medieval fencing, dancing to the sound of the bagpipes and Celtic games with the Highland warriors of the Clannan Ruath.

In 2008, this medieval-inspired clan was created, bringing together families including the "Mesnie du chas brodé", which is made up of ladies. In addition to the master of arms, the clan has a master blacksmith, a master artillerer, archers and cooks. The children are also part of the party.

The programme includes an introduction to knife throwing, axe throwing, archery and crossbow shooting on targets; discovery of leather work and the manufacture of weapons on period forges, weaving looms, embroidery and tapestries; practice of tug-of-war, log throwing and games of skill.
