In 2022, my wife Christine and I created the Celtic Days Festival, attracting nearly six thousand people to our beautiful town of Walcourt over the first two editions, and giving a boost to local businesses and lodgings at the request of our mayor Christine Poulin.
We're proud to be the only Celtic festival of its kind in Belgium, and it's a major socio-cultural event in Wallonia, with a reputation that extends far beyond its borders.
In November 2023, the non-profit organisation Belgian Celtic Events was created so that the many tasks involved in organising a festival could be divided up and carried out by a dedicated team.
In October 2024, we left the future of this wonderful adventure in the hands of the new team, wishing them every success in continuing the work we had begun.
We have fond memories of the quality artists we have welcomed since 2022, and we would like to thank the partners and service providers who have made this crazy dream come true.

The Celtic culture, unique and multiple at the same time, spreads from Scotland to Brittany, recognisable by the atmosphere of the Piper Bands and Bagadoù, their bagpipes and binioùs.
